Man Arrested for Robbing Woman at Harding's

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WOOD) -- A man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a woman at a Harding's Market in St. Joseph.

The crime occurred just before 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at the store located at 2844 Niles Avenue.

When police arrived, the 50-year-old victim said she was leaving the store when a man grabbed her purse, pushed her to the ground and then ran away. The suspect did not make any verbal threats and no weapons were seen.

On Sept. 29, the St. Joseph Police Department said with assistance from the Baroda Lake Township Police Department, officers arrested Cayde Mueller, 34, of Baroda on a charge of unarmed robbery.
