CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) -- A 46-year-old Grant-area man has been charged with videotaping a co-worker using a breast pump at a Steelcase facility in Gaines Township.

Gregory Mannino agreed at a district court hearing Wednesday to have his case sent straight to Kent County Circuit Court. The felony charge of capturing the image of an unclothed person can be punished by up to five years in prison.

Court records show investigators believe the incident happened in June.

Steelcase spokeswoman Laura Muyskens told 24 Hour News 8 Mannino was fired after the incident.

"It's behavior that is not condoned by the company," Muyskens said, adding that the company believes this was an isolated incident.

She declined to comment further, citing the ongoing legal situation.

The victim's husband told 24 Hour News 8 the woman found out about the videotape after a supervisor discovered it.

The victim, who is not being named by 24 Hour News 8 because of the nature of the case, answers emergency calls at the Steelcase Corporate Development Center. Her husband said she can't be far from the phones, so the company offered her the use of a room near where she works. He said that is where the videotaping happened.

Mannino did not respond to a reporter's request for comment at the conclusion of Wednesday's hearing. His attorney declined to comment.
