Angel just purchased a pair of these "Kwon-Tae Kwon Do Hand Protectors" for herself the other day from Kwon, Inc. and I have to say they are EXCELLENT for training! Too bad for her, the gloves were too big for her small hands but just perfect for MINE! Haha! She will be purchasing a pair for herself on Monday so she won't be missing out.
These gloves are excellent for protection against the common scrapes and abrasions that can (and will) happen to your knuckles and hands when doing striking drills on the padded targets. Not only can you strike with them, but they are small or thin enough to still be able to practice joint locking and grabbing escapes while still protecting your hands! These could easily double as (heavy) bag gloves as well. Angel had the opportunity to try out my pair on the "Instructor Body Guard" (with me in it!) earlier today. When she was done pounding away on me she had the biggest smile on her face. I asked her if she was ok and all she could say (with a smile) was "THAT was cool!"
