"The WASP" program is loosely based on the
same principles of Sigung Paul Vunak's "RAT"
or Rapid Assault Tactics that he designed for
the US Navy SEAL's almost two decades ago.
Since then, these tactics and concepts have
been taught to the FBI, CIA, DEA, SWAT and
over 13 government agencies from across the
country. They are now a part of Contemporary Jeet Kune Do as well as Joe
Walker's RADE Tactics Modern Combatives system. The WASP is designed
specifically for women, young and old, to intercept, confuse & disorient, and finally
terminate an attacker as quickly as possible.
These tactics & concepts have been recently featured on such popular local
programs and events as WOOD-TV8's daytime show "eight-West" with Terri
Deboer & Rachel Ruiz and MyChannel 957's "Sabrina's Sleepover". Sabrina
Fairchild from MyChannel 957 recently dubbed RADE Tactics Modern Combatives
instructors Joe & Angel Walker as the "Dynamic Duo" after spending an afternoon
at RADE Tactics Modern Combatives Academy training with Joe & Angel.
Women who attend this program will learn the concepts of the interception,
destructions, street trapping, and tactical terminations from various standing and
ground fighting positions. Women will also learn the Filipino concept of "defanging"
when it comes to blunt and edged weapon assaults, and also how to "equalize" the
situation and put the tactical advantage back into their court!
